On May 30, a dedicated group of friends will walk 50 km in Belgium in support of the Nefkens Adrenal Cancer Foundation.
This inspiring initiative was started by Amber, who was diagnosed with adrenocortical carcinoma last summer. After her surgery, she felt strongly motivated to take action and contribute to improving research into this rare form of cancer.
The team is already training hard to complete the full 50 km. In a creative twist, they are raising funds by letting supporters add songs to the team’s walking playlist.
The funds raised through this initiative will be used for a dedicated purpose within the NAC Foundation, contributing directly to its mission. The exact purpose is yet to be defined.
We are grateful for this initiative and for the commitment to raising awareness and support for ACC. Together, we take meaningful steps towards progress and hope.
